Hi, what operating system are you using?

It may have been waiting for you to quit MuseScore if it was already running (the Hub isn't able to update an application whilst it's running)...

Did this resolve itself eventually? Would be great to know some more details (if you're on Mac, Windows etc)

I'm having this issue, as described, on MacOS. From a reboot (yes I've tried turning it off an on again), I see MuseHub appear in the top menu bar. I click on MuseScore, a pie chart icon appears over the "ms" square, and a bar pops up at the bottom saying "Downloading MuseScore". The bottom bar fills up as the pie chart up top jumps around a bit sporadically but generally fills up as well. Then when the bottom bar is finished and the top's about 90% of the way around, the bottom switches to saying "Installing MuseScore", then disappears. But the top pie chart remains at 90%. Clicking on the top icon in this state restarts the process.

Update: I uninstalled and reinstalled MuseHub and the problem persisted, but manually deleting the MuseScore 4 application twice and giving MuseHub some Apple permission that popped up seems to have solved the issue--got MuseScore downloaded and open.

I had the same problem and I solved it in a similar way, I gave MuseHub full disk access and permission to update other apps, then deleted the MuseScore 4 file manually, then finally It fully downloaded from MuseHub.
